I hope they do, I was expecting quad channel with llano but nope,
But maybe it had somthing to do with costs and the controller.

Triple would've been nice but it would've increased cost way too much to be necessary I think. Remember that not only would it mean expanded memory controller circuitry, but three RAM slots, and all the other stuff that goes with it, increasing costs. Builders would have to stuff the system with 3 RAM boards instead of two, further increasing initial costs, power consumption, and perhaps heat. AMD is trying to improve IGP standards but also introduce heterogeneous processors as well by making graphics components multi-purpose. In that kind of thinking, AMD doesn't need to be overly cutting edge, but "just enough" to work well within reasonable means. Having DDR3-2133 support would've helped to get closer to cutting edge, yet still retaining slower RAM speed capabilities for those looking for better heat and memory management.

I really can't wait to see how 2 core and 160/240 SP Llano chips work out, since the bandwidth needs will be eased up by quite a bit and we'll actually see the components work closer to their theoretical maximums. These are the chips I wish AMD would put in machine price point that Zacate and Ontario currently occupy, with them closer to Atom like pricing. Either way, lower end Llano should be good for light gaming on the go.
