rumour of a new Dell 24" WS @ 1920x1200......?

cool, cheers.

$1000 = £1000 sadly. 🙁

still apple are trying to charge £1350 for their 23" 1920x1200 screen, so it ain't all bad.

What I really want is an OLED screen. I still can't stand how unresponsive LCD's are for fast gaming...but at the same time I can't exactly move around a 70lb CRT monitor everywhere either. 🙁

Thats a lot of pixels on one screen... A lot of pixels...

It's a great idea, but you're going to have make sure internals are top notch to run at 1900x1200...

There was a thread about this not too long ago (no I'm not screaming repost).

Sounds nice, but I buckled and ordered a 2005FP to go along with my 2001FP already (even after saying I'd want this 2405FP more, go figure).

It would give more of an excuse for SLI, at least.

Im already living the 24inch goodness. Check it out the screenshot here. I have no problem running Doom3, Painkiller, Farcry or UT2K4 at 1920X1200 other than having to modify some ini files-video card is a Gainward 6800GT Golden Sample. Also I used to have a 213t & I could see ghosting on it(it didnt bother me, though), but even though the 243t is listed at 25ms the ghosting is almost nonexistent.

Okay, it looks like I spoke too soon. I just tried to play Chronicles of Riddick & it brought my system to its knees at 1920x1200. It was playable, but choppy
