Thanx ya'll. Well the mobo I will probably get with my xp 1800 will be a Gigabyte 7VRXP. What da ya think about it? I will also be getting micron 2100 ddr or samsung pc2700 ddr (not sure), so what do you think about this rig's stability? Oh yeah and a 350 watt Enermax PSU.

Lastly: Should I wait for the Throughbred's?

PS: I agree by bro is a freakin idiot.

I would personally go with a Asus or Epox board. It's your choice man. :) Have heard nothing but good things about the Asus, Abit and Epox.

I've owned 2 EPoX boards. Both of them failed on me. I'm not saying EPoX sucks, because many people use them and have no problem. But I personally won't use them again. Asus & Abit are pretty much all I use. Both of those memory manu's are great. PSU is great. T-Breds should be available in about 2 to 3 weeks. Mobo manu's will probably have BIOS updates shortly after that to support the T-Bred. If you can stand to wait a few weeks, then wait. Of course, they'll cost more than an XP chip. Wait for some benchmarks and see if the extra cost is justified.

You sound like you're off to a good start using high quality components. :)
