Damn, store 326 is a hoss - 104 units. Deerfield, IL.

Are you guys just going to flip these things on eBay? Might go try to pick one up myself if you can still make a tidy profit on them.

If walmart, sams is having a sale on 15th and BB is having a sale on 18th, ebay will be flooded. You probably wont make as much as you think.

And eBay isn't already flooded with a constant 10-20K systems up for auction? It's been that way since shortly after launch.

Lol you are right, I was going to say surely that number is too high, but I checked and you are correct. At this very minute 12k hits for xbox 360 under the systems category. Wow, and I read that 40k had been auctioned out of the 300k or so MS has sold in USA. I think that 40k number needs to be revised upwards very sharply. Dang, its quite possible 1/3 or more of units have been sold on ebay. I didn't realize it was so much.

Heh. Perhaps next time MS should just sell their consoles straight through eBay.

I called a Sam's in Snellville (the one that told my wife they were getting a shipment on the 15th) and they had them but they are now gone.

My local Sam's Club had 16, the other one had 24. I got 3. They were limiting them to 1 per member. Had a family member go to two stores. They were Christmas shopping anyway. :)

mmm.... yeah... riiigghhhttt... Where'd you get one for less than cost, and who'd you sell it to? I seriously doubt your statement.

I checked on ebay... and it seems that premium packs are down to ~$650 on ebay. For thoses that plan to sell them there the hype bubble is deflating.

Besides how much do these things cost anyways, retail that is.

THanks

$399.99 for a premium and
$299.99 for a core system

I will be checking walmart today.. again. I have been there every night this week at around 10pm when they get their stock in and absolutely nothing. Not a single console since launch!

This is likely the last big shipment week before Christmas. Those that don't get them are going to have to make a decision on whether to wait till next year or buy on eBay for an inflated price.

Well.. nothing here at my WalMart.. this ice storm is killing my chances of getting a 360 before the weekend.

Is this advertisement on the printed bestbuy circular that you get with the newspaper? If it is then I won't go coz there is sure to be a line of mothers, teens and retards, but if you found out about it online then I'll go. If there is a line it will be much smaller and they will all be geeks.

As soon as MS has recognized there is no market for the XBOX 360 in Japan or Asia, the US is going to get a load of them in the coming months.

Yes, its a big nationwide sale on 18th. They have been confirmed (link above to scan of thier company newsletter) to be hoarding them since dec 2 as well as going to receive a big shipment for the 18th sale. Everyone will be in line for xbox 360. It will be in all the ads.

As for MS and japan, the xboxs that are already there probably wont be able to be sent back to USA because they are surely localized to some degree (even if its just the package and language when you switch it on). But I'm sure they will readjust thier manufacturing process. Odds are though this will take a few weeks or more.

I'm pretty sure that the bulk of the Walmart and Samsclub shipment will be going to all those who ordered them online :)

Before you ask I ordered mine on 11-15 when they said they would ship on launch day....Early in the AM before it was even posted here yet.

Looks like I'm covered on Xmas as mine was shipped yesterday with a free overnight upgrade in shipping....Just in case I get a dud I got 2 of them :)
