wow.. attleboro had 120.... did you try checking the targets and kmarts for xboxes. My friend picked up a premium system for his son yesterday at target. that was the last one. He found it behind the electronics counter, and when he asked the customer rep, he just sold it to him.

does anyone know if its true that walmart will have them in stock on friday the 15th?

friday is the 16th

yeah friday the 16th. my bad.

I guess the only good thing about ebay is that people with the $$$$ can get the xboxes for thier kids without worrying about the fact they are paying inflated prices.

supply and demand.... ebay must be so happy on the fees they are collecting.

Exactly. Don't try to pretend that if the opportunity was available to you people moaning about price gouging, that you wouldn't do the same thing. You are just jealous because you didn't have the inside track like others did (I know I'm jealous!). I'm sure I'll get flammed by people swearing up and down that they wouldn't do that, but we all know that they would. ;)

Hey, if people are dumb enough to buy it for that price, let them. I have to pay rent somehow, and if i can make money off of this, I'll be all over it.

I don't have to pretend..I will not EVER buy something in order to price gouge some poor parents for a popular toy for Christmas. I have in my hands two Mario Dance Dance Revolutions for proof. I guess I stumbled upon a popular game as they're selling on Ebay for 3-4x retail. I would never sell them because I want to give them to my kids/nephew. People that try to profit off of the desires of children by making false supply/demand situations should get their own little corner of hell :|

rent = 1525......

x box 360 = 400....

1525 is a huge number compared to 400....not even close to half.

now add car insurance, another 2500....add electricity...another 40....add other bills for the month, about another 200....

"$1525??!!!! I built a 2 story house with finished basement in a rich part of town, and my mortgage is only $1250/month!"

if you are living around the rt 9 area, 1500 is still a bit steep for rent. unless you have a penthouse on some luxurious condo..... its pretty steep.

1250 a month on a mortgage? which rich part of town are you talking about?

Um yah right. What if you got your hands on those two Mario games (or xbox 360s), but didn't have anyone to give them to. I'm sure out of the generosity in you're heart you'd sell them at retail or put them on ebay with a buyout at cost plus shipping? I doubt it. Of course its easy to say when you aren't in that situation what you would do. And I'm sure that hell is for those who try to make profit from selling stuff, oh wait, our country is going to HELL!!

Spoke to the local best buy, they said even though they are getting them on friday, they wont be selling them until Sunday morning because of the flier. They expect people to start the lining up Saturday AM. This was at store #134, Dublin Ca according to the link are getting 44 in.

Good luck shoppers.

I used to live on rt. 9 (South Huntington, terrible area), and the rent was 1k/monh. I moved to the Back Bay, which explains the rent hike.

I was in that situation and sold a 360 core system at my cost (in this case cost=less than retail).

The bestbuy rumor seems almost rock solid. Anyone have an evidence to the Wally World rumor releasing theirs tomorrow?

I sold a PS2 five days before Christmas for $800 even though launch was since October. I think xbox 360 profit will be good as it gets closer to xmas. There's rumors that Bill Gates hasn't gotten one yet. I know for a fact he gets all his clothes from ebay.

Prob get 800 a piece for them.

Bought kid regular xbox with money and lots of games.

Do people realize alot of regular xbox games are 720p? They look great on my 106" screen.

As seen above, they have been instructed to horde them every since the 2nd of Dec.
