Per watt improvement is fine, but what is the actual performance?

If we're going based off SPs, that's a 45% increase. With a mild clock bump that could be 50%.

There may be other bottlenecks, but in theory Fiji should be up to 50% faster than 290x.

I'm guessing scaling will NOT be 100% due to those bottlenecks so maybe ... 35% faster than 290x?

Not enough for me to buy anything.. I said I won't buy another 28nm GPU and I meant it.. but interesting nonetheless.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for amazing.

Nano is interesting, for sure.

But I'm not amazed yet.

I expected Fiji to be much faster than Hawaii.

Lisa said, the Nano has significantly more performance than R9 290X with half the power needed.

HOLY COW.

Having a hard time believing this, but if true, we now know why Nvidia really dropped the 980ti early. AMD winning on performance and efficiency? $649 Fury X and $549 Fury price. If this presentation isnt based on some BS metrics, "more ram" could end up sounding as pathetic as "more cores" around here before the year is over.

"Overclockers dream"

Raja talked about a refined GCN implementation here. They managed to get it to clock higher than existing GCN so far?

Damn. That's just what AMD needed to go against nvidia, clock speed. Nice nice nice
