Ya, 15%. And that's what I was trying to allude to in my post, is that I could wait until Gamestop drops the price on their used inventory, I'm just not sure what that would be yet. At most, $449, but maybe as low as $429, which would give it to me at around $365 plus tax. But it'd have to be in pristine shape before I'd consider dropping that kind of change on a used system that expensive.
However, I stopped by work today to bring back a game I had borrowed, and they had gotten a couple of Wii's in stock today, so I bought one of those on a whim. I'm waiting until the wife gets home to see if she wants to keep it, otherwise I'll take it back. She claims to want a Wii, but who knows.
Man, I gotta get a part-time job at Gamestop.
What's the trade-in value of a used PS3?
Ya, it's definitely a perk of the job. You are only allowed to keep it for 3-4 days, but they consider "product research" for the job. We decided to keep the Wii, so it looks as if my plans to pick up a discounted PS3 will have to wait. As for trade-in on a PS3 system, I have no idea, as I haven't seen anyone bring one in or ask about it. Although it seems like it's somewhere around $300-$350.
