Rumor: Killzone 3 for Holiday 2010 Supporting 3D and Motion Controller

Citing an anonymous source, CVG is reporting that Killzone 3 is in development and will be released around Christmas 2010, adding that the PS3-exclusive shooter will support stereoscopic 3D and the PlayStation Motion Controller expected this fall.

CVG was unsure if Killzone 3 was the game set to be revealed on GameTrailers TV tonight, but we now know that was Zipper Interactive's SOCOM 4. However, the information on Killzone 3 remains, according to CVG's source, "rock solid."

If this is true, I'll have a 3D display, and the motion controls by this time. Killzone 2 was a masterpiece. Sony usually doesn't keep stuff under wraps "this close" to release, but I feel it will be released at the beginning of next year if not this year.

I hated KZ2. I know a small minority love it but I think it was horrible, especially the single player. Graphics were great though so hopefully they improve everything else.

But anyway, I personally can't wait for the upcoming 3D gaming resolution. I plan on having a 3D-capable TV within the next year's time, and am looking forward to trying out gaming in the third dimension.

It's the best looking FPS on PS3, arguably out, and the gameplay is amazing.
