What constitutes a thread derailment worthy of a vacation?

This first example from Fear No Evil earned a very stern warning here: Text

I can only guess that CAD will be shocked that I support the investigation. I also agree with Farang that we can't draw any valid conclusions until the facts of the case are known from the Congressional panel and/or information revealed during Blago's upcoming trial.

One thing we know for sure is that there is enough interest in Jackson from all sides that it won't slip away unnoticed.

 for the facts.

Kind of like you are waiting for the facts of the case to come in against the Bush Administration? This place is pure gold.. pure comedy gold.

This post was uncalled for and has no relevance with respect to this thread.

It is a troll and/or attempt to hijackthe thread to support your personal ideology.

Another attempt WILL result in a vacation

Yet the following examples of threads derailed by Harvey appear to be kosher (no warnings)? (I am not singling out Harvey because he's a mod, only because he is the poster boy for derailing threads because of "personal ideology"). One
Two
Three

If someone could explain why the first is a bannable offense, yet the other 3 are not - that would go a long way to understanding of this complicated rule. There appears to be a thin line somewhere that makes one derailment acceptable and another unacceptable. I'd like to not get caught up on the wrong end of that line, so clarification would be helpful. Thanks.

Since you can't seem to decide if you want rules clarification, to call out Harvey or to argue with others, I'll lock this.

That wasn't your intent as you went out of your way to name one mod, the one that you and the other Limbaugh fans have a problem with...

And some of the other posters in that thread referred to the thread in PI - you were the one to call out that Mod...

You could just man up and admit you wanted to stick it to one person in particular.

and oddly enough, there's still room for the any of the mods to still answer your question.

I'm confused, I hate Limbaugh..........but did I break a rule of semantics? Asking "a mod", not "the mods" to lock a thread is grounds for a banning so you say. I'm gonna not take your word for that, besides the fact that my request to have that thread locked was genuine. Tell you what though, instead of whining about my post in this thread, why don't you man up and start your own PFI thread if my alleged "call out" so offended you, mmmmk?
