It is amazing how accurate that post is. Probably your most accurate...well...ever...

Agitprop is for the lowest common denominator, the racists easily riled when the wall just got 10ft taller, not people who go on in school & learn about the history of your sort.

It's more like they enjoy reading media that tells them what they want to hear.People like boomerang and LK have set up an entire alternate reality for themselves. I think they genuinely believe the crazy shit they think is reality and the rest of us are dupes.

It's one of those unintentional downsides to the democratization of information. While generally this free flow has been fantastic it allows people to isolate themselves in media bubbles.

The type of media feedback loop they take at face value, and indeed many others who are just detached from objective reality, is definitely a bit sad and unfortunate. Hell, not even the FBI director testifying to Congress that they they determined Combetta was only trying to hide/delete HRC's name from the email header and not some nefarious illegal conspiracy can convince folks like LK, or a few other far more unbalanced posters on this forum. http://www.politico.com/blogs/under-the-radar/2016/09/clinton-email-reddit-james-comey-228832

If only they had read Ars or had an IT background, they could have predicted days ago what the FBI director said under oath today. Guaranteed this will not change thinking of course, politics as team sports is as rampant as ever.

Anything that tends to confirm the Evil Hillary Conspiracy Theory is believed prior to any rational examination at all.

I can't imagine you don't see that your sort are gradually going the way of the dodo. How does it feel that some successor might as well be put in a zoo some time in the future?

Yawn, those boys cried "wolf" too many times.
But yeah, Jim Jordan is so done, since he just went on recess with the rest of this embarassment of a Republican Congress.
http://thehill.com/blogs/floor-acti...s-departs-for-recess-until-after-election-day
The House was originally slated to vote Thursday on a resolution to hold the former State Department staffer responsible for setting up Hillary Clinton’s private email server in contempt of Congress.

Yet House GOP leaders opted to postpone consideration until after Election Day, depriving Republicans of highlighting an issue that’s dogged Clinton in her presidential campaign.

In all fairness, these guys still can't over the fact that women willingly have sex with Bill Clinton but call HR when they try to make the same moves.

Much as I am disappointed in Comey, I can see his basic dilemma. He cannot ethically indict Hillary for doing all the time what the Bushies did some of the time. The law (and basic decency and fairness) simply doesn't allow it. I do think he should have indicted the people who scrubbed the server, but arguably, it wouldn't be fair to prosecute people for doing a thing while not prosecuting someone at her level for paying to have it done.

This is simply beating a dead horse. Everyone knows what she did. Everyone knows it was illegal. Everyone knows she lied about it and continues to lie about it. It does not matter. This does not matter in the least. People who would vote for Hillary literally do not care what she does; she is the authoritarian figure they crave. People who would not vote for Hillary due to this still have to get around voting for Trump, who shares her every vice and then some from where I'm sitting. In narcissistic, dishonest assholes, she has met her match and more.

Comey based his decisions on the decency & fairness part, not any of the rest. That's obvious from his speech. He never mentioned the Bush clan.

Begin with something that makes sense, rambler thru a few acres of bullshit, exit with something half-assed honest. If the law doesn't allow her to be prosecuted, how did she do something illegal?

The law isn't on anyone's side. The evidence of intent was not sufficient to prosecute. Difficult to establish intent when the accused circumvents the checks and balances put in place to prevent these very scenarios. But the accused is infinitely better than Trump, so its all good.

How can you fight the patriarchy when your husband is a textbook manifestation of it? Something there doesn't quite reconcile.

I never said anything about Democrats, but there is a almost predatory equivalency between Clinton and Ailes. Unless of course your threshold for outrage is whether or not the person in question has game.

It's understandable that those without game want to believe it's the same thing.

It was not sufficient because Comey & the FBI didn't find any intent. They just found people doing their jobs the best way they could figure out how to do.

Some of them would receive a not met expectations on document retention.
