Rugged Laptop?

One of our engineers came to me and asked if I could find a laptop that could ride one the front of a quad while they are using up to 4 dataloggers to capture data. You can buy rugged serial PCMIA cards but I'd need something that can handle a little weather and bumping.
Any sites or products suite?

Panasonic makes Toughbooks which are great little laptops. A little pricey but for what you get, its worth it. They aren't always the latest and greatest even in terms of laptops but the only other option is military issue.

Yep familiar with those but its overkill for what we need.
Basically just need a pile of serial ports that take in the data and upload it to a LT or PC, specialty stuff I know but was hoping to find something cheaper than the Panasonic

IBM was mounting their hard drives in a gel to shock absorbtion. Doesn't help the screen or provide protection from rain but its a start.
