That's part of what forms my opinion. I don't listen to the lyrics as much as some people. I'll listen to it all more thoroughly later. But from a purely musical standpoint, I like Rufio a lot. The rest sounds good too.. I'll have to start paying more attention to the lyrics.

I didn't say I don't like lyrics. I said I don't listen to them as much as I should and that I'd try to listen to them more.

Teenage Riot? The Radio Still Sucks?

Ever heard of SR71? They actually are more pop-punk, or just rock I guess. Their song "Right Now" was kinda catchy.

I like the beginning to Teenage Riot.. it's cool. Same with SR71's "Right Now". The rest of it gets annoying though. Alright how about more "mainstream" punk bands like Pennywise. What would you call them?

when was the last time you heard pennywise singing about girls? pennywise have been around for years and years and years and they are not really mainstream. rufio has probally been around for less than a year and i bet its all 15yr old girls and boys at their shows.

Never been to a Pennywise or Rufio show. I don't know, but I'd enjoy listening to something about girls as much as "F*ck Authority"...

Pennywise HAS become pretty mainstream considering I hear em on the radio all the time. F*ck Authority, Bro Hymn, etc...

I don't like Pennywise all that much, but they are good.

Ohhhh oops, no it was Alien, not Bro Hymn. Doh... obviously, yeah it'd be weird to hear Bro Hymn on the radio.

OK, what do you think about Less Than Jake? Some poeple seem to like them. Personally I think they kinda suck (a lot) and can't sing for beans. There is one song I have by them that's alright though, called "Modern World" I think.

less than jake is great. i have seen them live a few times. they are great guys and they are one skaish band that i dont mind listening to.
