I was in Easton,PA. one time and stopped at a light on Larry Holmes Blvd.
A brother was leaning against a light pole and said, "Pffft, hey, wanna buy some weed?"
I said "Not right now bud, but can you tell me where the Sheraton is?"
He walked over, stuck his head in the window and pointed the directions out to me.
He also relayed the "Happening spot" information I needed, and I offered to buy him a drink in exchange for his kindness.
He declined saying "Nah man, I don't touch the stuff".
I've highlighted that exchange as one of the top five most fvcked up conversations I've ever had with a stranger.
The moral to this story?
Dope dealers (although maybe not the salt of the earth) can not only be useful, but courteous.
