Rude shopper at Costco. RANT!

So I was coming out of Costco with like 3 items in my cart. There was a couple of people ahead of me getting their receipt checked off at the exit. I was pretty much next in line when this black lady comes zooming in from my right side, cuts me off and hands her receipt to the guy that marks off the receipts. I got pretty annoyed, but then get this, he finds several items in her cart that were not on the receipt. She proceeds to go on the offensive, like it wasn't her fault that the register checker didn't ring up those items. So this goes on for like 10 minutes, meanwhile I'm stuck behind her waiting to get out.

Finally, the receipt checker told her to move her cart to the side and he'll handle her after he checks me out. There was no one behind me trying to get out. I finally got to leave. They'll most likely just let her pay for the items and leave since she's going to claim it was some mistake.

If I were you, I would have just wheeled on by. I don't think there's a a damn thing they can do about it.

i would have cut right back in front of her. or walked out. if they want to look at my receipt, they can follow me out and look at it right then.

I find the entire Costco experience to be generally unpleasant but the prices make it hard to resist.

BTW, must you mention the color of her skin? Does that make her any more or less rude?

True, I should ve just moved around them. I think she was betting on the guy just checking off the receipt without checking the items in the cart. Sometimes they don't check at all, just mark the receipt and let people leave.

To this day, I've not been cut off by a white lady or Asian lady. I think I'd be more likely to speak up if she wasn't black. Just something about black lady's attitudes that scares me.

I saw an ass last night, and not a pretty one..

This SOB was giving someone hell at the courtesy counter at a supermarket, literally screaming at this high school guy. Why? The cashier forgot to apply his super saver or whatever card. They cheated him out of 26 cents! I mean he was really off the wall.

So I cut him off in mid scream, told him to hold out his hand. Blinking, he did so, and I shoved a quarter and a penny from my pocket in his hand and told him go get lost. He wandered off in confusion.

My daily good deed.

Costco and sams are warehouse clubs and you have to sign an agreement which probably states that they get to check your stuff.

Half the time they do a quick check over the cart and just check it, but occasionally they will be thorough.
