Rubber Seal

So I'm making a Wooden Box that I need to keep the air out as much as possible. The seal on the box needs to be positioned and screwed down parallel to the sides not the typical refrigerator type seal. I'm looking for a strip with a cross section like this. Anyone know what that type of seal is called or where to get one?

Help much appreciated.
 
i feel so ashamed.
i just spent a few minutes trying to find a picture of a rubber seal, like a rubber ducky.
i felt like I HAD to post a picture of it, and that would be all the post would have.
but alas, a damn rubber sealy proved elusive in my search attempts.

out of spite, I might revive this thread with just that picture. Or post it in some randomly chosen thread.

heh-heh...I also looked for something like a rubber bathtub toy...and found only plastic ones. 😀


OP, you never gave dimensions of what you need.

width, height, and length.
 
A vacationing penguin is driving through Arizona when he notices that the oil pressure light is on. He gets out to look and sees oil dripping out of the motor. He drives to the nearest town and stops at the first gas station.

After dropping the car off, the penguin goes for a walk around town. He sees an ice-cream shop and, being a penguin in Arizona, decides that something cold would really hit the spot. He gets a big dish of ice cream and sits down to eat. Having no hands he makes a real mess trying to eat with his flippers. After finishing his ice cream, he goes back to the gas station and asks the mechanic if he's found the problem. The mechanic looks up and says "It looks like you blew a seal."

"No no," the penguin replies, "it's just ice cream."
