Rubber bracelets

I'm talking about those tiny rubber/jelly bracelets that were in style in the 80s and now they're coming back. Have you seen the people that twist them around into all kinds of weird designs and stuff that go up their arms and on their hands and stuff? I was wondering if there is anywhere online that shows how to do that stuff. I'm not getting anything from Google.

I heard from my middle school aged cousin that they banned those bracelets in school because they contained some sort of sexual messages. Like certain colors meant that you were willing to do certain sexual things with other people. There was something on the local news about it and all these parents flipped out if their kids were wearing bracelets. Most of the kids had no clue about any sexual meaning, they just wore them because everyone else was.

Yes I head about that too and I think it's dumb. No one I know wears them for that reason.

I saw a late night replay of that crap on Oprah.
I think its one of those urban legends that got outta control some where. Kind of like the headlight flashing gang murdering thing.

actuallt the "Sex Bracelets" thing isnt a legend, its real in a good number of places, a girl in a film studies class at my college did a film about it, at her sisters middle school, interviewed her friends and such, this was last fall sometime, that was the first i had heard of it

then it was on the national news and they blew it out of the water

What I am curious about is what happens when ugly geek pulls a bead from that bracelet.

YAGT here on ATOT

I really don't care about the "sex bracelet" thing. And I didn't say I was the one that was going to be wearing them like the way I described, although I may wear one or two just normally.

Still hoping for a link...

I like rainbow parties better😉

Next time I see my gf I'm going to convince her to play the bracelet thing with me. Should be fun.
