My friend and I were debating this and I obviously love RTCW's multiplayer. What is you preference?

Of the choices, I'd have to go with MoH. RTCW feels too "cartoony" to me. It's a great game, just feels odd.

I didn't put BF:1942 up there because I just want to see if you had to buy either one which you would buy.

simple your choice is already made for you....(IE no free agency).
MOHAA is for those with slower computers and on dial-up.

RTCW is for those with decent video cards and broadband connection.
Those who attempt to play RTCW multiplayer with weak computer or dial-up or quickly fragged and cuss up a storm about how RTCW sucks beyond belief, etc.

I like BF 1942 (bought two copies) but it's completely different genre. I plan on buying RTCW: Enemy Territory when it's released Nov 12th.

I have a poop computer (700Mhz, geForce2 MX400, 256 SDRAM, Cable Internet, 5.1) yet I still love RTCW. Never played a game so neat, tee hee. (Heh)

I live in an old church, have home lan with 10 machines. (I know, sad!!!)

LAN Matches most Thursdays and Fridays (Saturday = Bitches,Beer and Spliffs)
Installed games are;

RTCW:Game of the Year Edition
SOF2
MOHAA
ETC ETC ETC

And Soon 1942

The game most played is RTCW, because

the game takes longer,
you have to use teamwork and strategy.
........and is a lot of FUN.

SOF2 is next and though people play it, the missions are over too quickly,
do not span massive areas, and is less fun.

MOHAA is played very little.

It's a good question and as already said, it depends on your experiences with them. RtCW is laggy on a Dial-up connection and became a chore to play. MoHAA is much better for Dial-up but can still a pain with lag specifically. However, I managed to a 64k ISDN connection and both games improved huge amounts. So it brought them on an even keel.

MoHAA feels more realistic and again as already mentioned RtCW doesn't feel as good. (Cartoon feel, good description) but, you would expect that as "id", "Gray Matter" worked tightly togther on it so it does feel very "Quake3" like.

I'm gunna vote MoHAA for this reason, and this reason only. They are both good though. Now, play BF1942 on ISDN and it SUX bigtime. :(

Wow, tough question IMO.
Id give it a tie...love em both.

As far Battlefield 1942, its extremely laggy and im on a broadband connection!

Yet RTCW, MOHAA, SOF2, NFSPU, Tiger Woods 2002 and all my othe multiplayer games play great online.

So im hoping BF1942 improves soon.
