RTCW mouse troubles

I have a Logitech optical USB wheel mouse. The scroll wheel is not working at all in Return to Castle Wolfenstein. I like to use the wheel to switch weapons, but since I got this mouse it hasn't been working. I don't have any problems with the mouse in any other applications. Any ideas?
 
I have the same mouse and the wheel function works in RTCW.

Have you updated your drivers and software at Logitech? They come out with new ones regularily.
