I don't need help much anymore with my computer problems but this one has me stumped.
I am playing the game Return to Castle Wolfenstein-game of the year addition. I'm getting a freeze up a few minutes into the game not always at the same time. Video freezes and I can't get out or use ctrl-alt-del, if I wait a few it will shut down the game and give me a message that says the game had an error.
I have done the following;
Checked temp, OK at max 54c in the MBM log.
Loaded all new video, sound card, 4 in one drivers
Tried running in all display sizes on desktop and in the game setup.
Shut down all non essential programs before playing.
Virtual memory to min/max 600m
AGP to 64, fast write off
Any ideas?? I've checked some of the forums for this game but came up with nothing I havn't tried.
