RT311 and VPN?

Nowhere in the documentation do I see that it is supported. I do see PPTP and Ipsec passthough are casually mentioned but nothing about specifically setting them up. Does somebody have a VPN working with the RT311? I do have a unconfigured Netopia R7100 sitting around here but am unsure if it will work with aDSL since it was installed with a previous implementation of sDSL through a ISP that used northpoint. AHA..TIA

Or does anyone have a suggestion on a lowcost router that has excellent VPN support, besides the BEFSR11...

I have a static ip through my isp and VPN to work pretty often. Initially, I had the RT311, but then I upgraded to the RT314. Both routers gave me no problems VPNing to work at all.

If you are looking to VPN into your home network, I don't know what you would need. But in menu 15, you would have to open ports to an authentication server. That should work, but I don't know what the ports are for VPN.
