RROD

Just got the RROD on my 360 manufactuered 8/2006. Anyone else still running an older Xbox like this one? How long does the replacement usually take?

Where do you live? Completely depends on your location, I sent my request in for a label last Saturday, received the box on Thursday and they shipped it out today. Time in repair was Friday - Monday morning, but I had a launch elite.

Looks like you're from NY according to your profile, so I'll say about a 2 week turnaround. That's how long it took me.

8/2006? Well, that's a launch box, I suppose. 1.5-2 weeks is about the usual. Sucks, but it gives your other consoles a chance to be played.

Hey, at least he made it in under the warranty period. 6 more months and he'd have been out of luck. 😉

Well for me I got the box shipped to me monday, I got the box Wednesday. Shipped it to them yesterday and I got my replacement unit today.

My launch 360 is still going strong.

The fans on it seem to be getting noisier, or maybe it's just my imagination 🙂.

When I sent mine in I had it back within a few days, maybe a week at most. I go to school about 45 minutes outside of Toronto where the repair center is.
