rp614 router login/pass

does anybody have the Netgear RP614 router? I am trying to login to the router so I can set my forward ports but I don't my box and manuals with me. Does anybody know the default login/pass to get into the setup menu?

Option 1: Play your games without a Router, use a sniffer, and write down what ports are used by your games.

Log on the Internet Down load the Data sheets of all major Routers. Check the info about ports opening, and choose the one that fit your ports.

Option 2: Buy the cheapest Router. (Starting tomorrow there will be one on sale for 29.95 AMIR check the usual mega store sales ads.) Put your computer on the DMZ, and enjoy without headaches.

i'm not having trouble with the actual forward of the ports, but getting to the setup screen so that I can set the forwarding options. I just need someone to provide me with the default login/pass to the router so I can change it. I tried netgear's website but the links don't work.

I tried that too but it didn't work. I know that was the default for the other Netgear routers.

Go to Netgear Support and tell it to search for the RP614. Or, if desperate, call 888-Netgear, tech support is available 24/7.

At the web site, you can get the reference guide, installation guide, latest firmware, and answers to assorted Qs.

If I'm reading the docs right, the new and improved default password is:

thanks RW it worked. I was finally able to download those PDF files through the link you gave me. I guess maybe the servers were having problems earlier today or something, but I went throught the same exact link you gave me this morning and didn't work. Well... as long as it's workig now, I don't care.
