Well, I think you grade him too high. He's had one good year. His other 4 years have shown him to be nothing more than a number 2 WR.
agreed. he's a good WR but i don't think this is the deal the cowboys needed. i'm surprised they made a deal at all but if they did make a deal, i'd expect something on the defensive side. the offense is already pretty stacked, romo is only going to be out 3-4 weeks. they would've been fine without this deal, or much better served shoring up the secondary.

Defense is already stacked. The problem is the DC is clueless, and there are too many high picks who don't work hard. A couple of blue collar, every down types are what the Cowboys need. Like more Zach Thomas types.

I think the important question we are missing here is....how does T.O. feel about this?

Is he going to throw a tantrum over having another WR to share the football with or is he going to play nice?

In the offseason, TO was proactively asking for another receiver. He doesn't like being double or triple covered. This will actually be good for TO. He likes winning and he likes being more open. I think it will be fine.

Of course, with two big egos like that, there's always potential for a meltdown, but I don't see it happening.

Did anyone else check out Jimmy Johnson's take on TO, Ocho Cinco and Plaxico this past Sunday? He said he couldn't even coach TO

REPORT: Lions secure 0-16 season.

Well, they'll have the number one overall pick and be able to draft another wide receiver. 🙂

They'll have to fight the Bengals for the pick.

🙁

Just curious, in the event of two teams having an 0-16 season, who gets the #1 pick? Not that I fully expect it to happen, but there's gotta be some official rule on this, right?

I believe it's determined by their strength of schedule.

two roy williams' on the same team

exactly my thought, how are their jerseys gonna be different?

The number.

obviously that will be different i mean for the names if people have same last name on a team, then they get the initial of their first name on the jersey but 2 exact roy williams...
maybe they will combine into one Roy Williams Voltron that plays both offense and defense

LOL!

Dear Mat Millen replacement,

I write you this as a concerned fan of a team that has been rebuilding all 51 years of my lifetime. When you go into the draft room and see all the shiny toys of wide receivers please ignore them. What all teams need to do is build from a core. So if you have any hope of retaining your job for more than 8 years after you go 31-84, I implore you PLEASE DRAFT AN OFFENSIVE LINEMAN OR TWO YOU STUPID FUCKING IDIOT!!!

lol, the temporary GM or the future GM have not even drafted yet. Isn't it a bit premature to call them an idiot?

Sorry, but fuck Crayton - he's been doing bad. He has the hands, but it seems like he doesn't really want to live in TO's shadow. Which I don't get - Crayton wouldn't be the #1 option anywhere but a place like DET, KC or LA. Austin is far better, as has been proven in the basically 2 games he won for the Cowboys.

Calvin Johnson and Dwayne Bowe say hello.

This pisses me off, not only because it makes the cowboys better, but because the eagles should have traded for him.
