He's always been into that scene. I remember last fight of one of his previous fights he had Red Man and Method man come out and rap for his entrance theme. Tight!

If Oscar de la Hoya can get nominated for a Grammy, why can't Roy Jones Jr. rap?

that's true...but think about pro athletes that decided to take a swing at rap (think kobe, shaq, iverson, deon...)? the results weren't pretty, and neither were the album sales.

<< i don't know, i guess he thinks he can do anything. i think he should stay in the ring. >>

He can do anything. He's rich, he can probably beat everyone's asses from these forums and then some. So basically he can do whatever he wants even if it hurts him in the sales. He wouldn't care. He gets like 3 mill just to beat someones ass.

wow, that was a great statement. probably? i'm guessing that's a safe bet, I've heard some stories about the boxing legends on this forum but not quite Roy Jones Jr caliber.

i happen to know the son of a millionaire, would you like me to contact him about a possible hip-hop album in the future? did i mention he can throw a mean curveball?

I watched "the life" on espn where it showed RJJ's house. He's got a full recording studio in his huge house. I guess he's really into it.

He also raises pit bulls and fighting roosters. I can just see a weekend party at his pad... lets make a rap album, then watch some animals kill each other. Yipee! :(

Well I guess he might as well. He won't fight nobody but truck drivers, janitors, and bums.

<< He just makes htem all look like bums. No one is close to his level. >>

Name one person in the last 5 years he's beaten thats worth a damn? No one. He won't move up in weight and he won't move down. I used to like Roy, but I just think he will go down as being the great fighter who wouldn't fight anyone who could him give a run. I do believe Holyfield started out as LHW.
