Why is emc10 only using around 50% of my quadcore when encoding movies. It seems slower than the older version that would max my dual core. Is there a way to force 100% use of all 4 cores?
 
I suspect it is only programmed to use 2 cores - that's why it is at 50% of your quad. Have you queried Corel? You may have a fairly unique situation.

It uses all 4 cores, but all togather the usage only adds up to 50% load!
