I have a server for my lan running 2000 Adv. Server. I'm using Routing and Remote access with NAT to share my internet connection. I am still using a dialup. Whenever someone calls and it's not connected, the server picks up after 2 rings and tries to connect. Does anyone know how to disable this? If you need anymore info, just ask :) TIA

I think you just need to turn off the "dial-up server" option. If I remember correctly, go to My Computer, Dial-up Networking, then somewhere in the Connections menu at the top, there should be an option to turn on/off the dial-up server. This is just a guess though, I only have a WinXP box here, and it doesn't have a modem.

Hope this helps :)
