looking for a new boardband router...any suggestions?

I think it is really a matter of brand preference, as they are all pretty much the same at the consumer level. I have personally always used Linksys products, but have set up other networks with Netgear and D-Link. I personally prefer Linksys, as the menus seem easier to navigate through, and I am more familiar with them.

I agree, This Linksys router is probably something you are looking for. It is widely use (I also have one) and is pretty good. You can also pick one up at your local Best Buy for around the same price. Linksys tech support is pretty good too (from experience)

If you have a spare PC, I would suggest checking out m0n0wall or IPCop. Both are very good firewall routers that have really nice web interfaces, and if you already have a spare pentium or higher PC with at least 64megs of ram and 2 ethernet cards, your ready to go.

I Picked one up today after my Wireless one dies on me after about 8 months I just got I wired one this time from Fututershop here in Canada it was $49.99 with a $40 MIR so if the rebate comes in it's like $9, works good MSC I think it's name is my Wireless one that died was a netgear.

Linksys is a thumbs up from me. I'm gone through many routers/hubs and Linksys has proven to be the best to my so far. If you're going the wireless route, go for the Linksys WRT54G or WRT54GS since they can used Sveasoft firmware and other non-Linksys firmware for more customization.
