router selection

NETGEAR WGT624NAR 108Mbps Wireless Router - Refurbished (very low price)
or
Linksys 54Mbps G Router ($40)
or
D-Link DI-634M MIMO 2XR ($55)

I will connect the router to a xyzel 660 DSL modem for broadband connection. My top priorities are reliability (don't want drop connection, or slow down, or hourly reboot) and upnp support.

Any suggestion?

I HIGHLY recommend the D-Link 634M. I've had just about every wireless Linksys router and I like the D-Link by far. Extremely stable and great range.

From my personal experience, I've had the best luck with Microsoft and D-Link routers, however Microsoft no longer makes them. For some reason I've had terrible luck with Linksys routers, even the ones that are supposed to be good. Though I haven't used the ones you list, I would lean towards the D-Link.

I've used Linksys, Netgear, and now an old D-Link. The D-Link is probably 2+ years old and has never locked up, needed a reset, or given me a moment's trouble. Wi-Fi works fine but I use it very little so I can't say how reliable it is. The Netgear was not perfect but still very decent. The Linksys was by far the worst with frequent lockups after about 6-9 months of use.

i've had a dlink and it somewhat died on me (really bad connection and constants drops)....bought a linksys and now i'm happy
