router probs....

OkOk, I just bought a D-Link Dl 604 router to hook both my pc's on my cable connection. So I plug everything up, everthing is fine, both are browsing the web. So I open BF1942 to jump ina internet game, it says data differs from server( I have all the patces,etc.) So I unplug the router and use the old setup like the cable modem going straight to my main rig. same thing, so I reinstall BF and get the same error, I was palying two days ago fine until I bought my router. Is there some kind of option I need to enable in the config of my router or is it something else? LMK, its a 4 port router by D-Link

I do not know what is happening, but thought I would tell you this. Dlinks phone support is good and can probably help you. That is the good part the bad part is that 604 router sucks. I junked mine for a Linksys. Should have done it 6 months earlier. Gene
