I have a new router to which both my XBox and PC are connected. The problem is that now my XBox is now connected at 10 Mbps Full Duplex and the FTP speeds are about 10x slower. Before I got the router I had my XBox connected directly to my PC via a crossover cable and it was sharing my the internet connection through my PC. When in this arrangement my XBox connects to my PC at 100 Mbps Full Duplex.
I want to use the router because it gives it allows my XBox to connect to the internet wether or not my PC is on. This problem is highly annoying and I have no idea why it's happening.
Another question pertaining to the router... if a wireless B device connects to the router will that cause all other wireless G clients to fall back to wireless B speeds? I have my TiVo connected to the router using a wireless B USB adapter, but from what I have read on the TiVo site the TiVo is a picky bastard and there is a rather short list of adapters it can use and all of them appear to be wireless B.
