Router issues

I am having problems with my router. For some reason, I think it is rebooting after a minute or two. I try testing it on my computer and it can't even get an IP address from it, both wireless or wired. I tried resetting it, but I'm not sure that is even working. Any ideas?

I can't even get an IP from it. I set it to an AP because I was trying to use it as a switch for my other router, but now it doesn't even work.

Sounds like you need to invest in a new router. I recently, as in the past week purchased a d-link dgl-4500 and am really liking it.

It's hard to saw what happened to it. The power supply could've failed or the electronics. Nevertheless it appears that your unit is destined for the garbage can so find you a new unit and move on.
