Hi all,

my router keeps loosing my ISP address everytime the DHCP lease ends. It doesnt seem to be able to renew the IP lease. I have a Linksys 8 port router, and the lease time is 7 days. This never happened before, ive had this lan setup for over 5 years, but now in the last 3 weeks, its been happening punctual about every 7 days.

does anybody know why the router does not renew the lease like it should? everytime I have to go downstairs to reset the router for it to pick up the IP address again. I heard something about forwarding ports 67 and 68... but meh my googling has not been successful.

Any help is appreciated.
