Router confusion

I have a mac and a Windows 8.1 box behind an Apple Airport Extreme router on a wireless network. When I do an IPCONFIG I get a default gateway of 192.168.0.1. When I put this address into a web browser I get a Netgear DM111PSPv2 configuration screen. I don't know why I am seeing a Netgear configuration screen when I have an Apple Airport Extreme router. Can anyone please explain this?

You probably connected to a Netgear router that has no password in your neighborhood.

AirPort Extreme's default LAN IP address is: 10.0.1.1

so you definitely was connected to your neighbor's router.

That Netgear DM111PSPv2 is a DSL modem that has no WiFi capabilities. That is likely the modem that your ISP provided, and which the Airport Extreme is connected to the internet through.

If you are attempting to configure the Airport Extreme, you will need the utility from Apple to do so. The utility is built into some versions of iOS, and is available for other versions of iOS and Windows.
