im trying to figure out how to block ports on my router 27015 and 27017 so a game cannot be played on the internet or lan, i do not want this game played, im in the router gateway page, and i cant find where to block ports, or how to do this thanks.
 
I'm not familiar with that model but are you wanting to prevent folks on the "inside" of the router from playing or from people on the inside serving up internet games.

The router will do the latter by default.
 
Menus might be different from one version to the other.

In one version of Belkin I saw it under Client IP filters. You choose there the computer IP and the port to be blocked.

how do i get his LAN IP, i go to DHCP client list, shows every machine connect, but every hostname is blank, how do you give each pc a hostname?

You may be have the right to do it, or may be Not, how should I know. :shocked:

You can get their computer IP by going to the computer and checking the IPCONFIG command. Or if you know the computer name you can try just pinging it from your own computer to get the IP address.
