Rouroni Kenshin is such a cool anime.

I can't believe that I watched Kenshin in fansubbed .rm, then in fansubbed vcd, and then I bought the dvds as they were coming out. Only got thru the Kyoto arc on the dvds, and from the first dvd I wished that had the fansubbed subs on them.

Naruto is good. I can't wait to see what will happen the next week. I guess I could read the manga to find out what happens.
 
Naruto and kenshin are both good series.

Getbackers and Gundam Seed as well. Though I am going to hate waiting for Gundam Seed 2 🙁
 
Loved that series when I first watched it, but after watching a lot of anime Kenshin to me is only above average 3/5 stars 🙁, but the OVA is very good. I agree Naruto is great 4/5. You should check out Juuni Kokki one of the best series I have ever seen.
 
I think that naruto is good, but it can't beat kenshin (especially manga vs manga) in my opinion.


But then again, i'm heavily biased towards kenshin since that was the series that pretty much hooked me on anime. Naruto probably comes in as a close second for me

i watched the episodes several times over when he drop those weights.

yeah, when i first saw the weights drop in the manga i was like... OMGWTFROFLZLMAOMG KAKKOI OMGSAMA.

so freakin cool. 🙂 rock lee is my favorite character. best eyes and eyebrows ever in an anime.
 
I'm sorry but this question just BEGS to be asked:

How old are you guys? My kids (11, 10, and 9) like anime as do their friends. I kinda thought that stuff was for kids.

Anime, like "American" cartoons, can appeal to all age groups. Check out the animated Spawn, for instance. Would you let your kids watch it?
 
I think not. But they are very much into DB, DBZ, Pokemon, Digimon, and Yugioh. They'd watch more but their mother wouldn't have it. 🙂
