Thats the one thing I didn't like about the movie. The Oreo thing seemed the easiest tell to see.

Also, if the final hand posted here is correct, then the main character lucked out. 89s against AA is typically very bad heads up.

This movie probably had a lot to do with the craze starting. It's hard to watch it and not want to try yourself.

Great movie, one of my favorites.

if you like rounders, i suggest poolhall junkies. it's almost the exact same movie but has to do with pool.

KGB's tell is the oreos, ofcourse. If he breaks them apart, then eats them, he thinks he has the nuts. First scene, flopped top set, and filled up on the turn. Final scene, flop A35 rainbow, starts eating them with the nut 24.

How does poolhall junkies compare to The Hustler?

I like how you see Teddy KGB pop up in all these unexpected pop culture places. Anyways,

What did the cops beat their asses for? (easy, i guess)

never seen the hustler.

it's almost an exact copy of rouders, or so it seems, but poolhall junkies was filmed before rounders, iirc.

Listen, here's the thing. If you can't spot the sucker in the first half hour at the table, then you are the sucker.

Duh, Vegas, to the World Series.

Name the places where Mike spent his long poker session before he and Worm went to the barber shop.

Wasn't there a deli too? The guy at the counter had a great line, but I don't remember what it was.

KGB's tell was when he's twist the Oreo near his ear, as though he was listening to the sound it made. Right? The other times he would just twist the Oreo and commence licking/eating.
