Round IDE Cables

Long story short...I had a round ide cable that came with my MSI mobo tear off and I need some new ones.

I've looked around and there are several brands. All I want is something that won't tear off like a piece of paper when I try to pull it out.

Any advice would be appreciated.

i find that ribbon IDE cables are easier to work with, and properly managed allow greater airflow than rounded cables. ribbons are so easy to fold and tuck away.

ya im not really complaining about the ribbons...but i need 80 conductor ribbons and was wondering if there was a way to tell what im buying.

Go to SVC's website. They have good deals on cables. I got mine there and am very pleased.

Yeah, me too. I got some "glow in the dark" rounded cables for cheap and they work just fine. They have nice sales on these pretty regularly too.

I'd go with some of those^^^^.

I use Vantec rounded cables (both FDD & IDE) and think their quality is great. They have pull tabs to assist in removing the connector.

Fry's sold these, but here is a link where you may purchase them.
