The problem isn't that he "won't accept facts". He knows he's wrong, and continues posting incorrect information and analysis while under the full knowledge that he is wrong.

He adds nothing, and helps run off good posters.

The thing is, even after he's been told 20+ times, he won't accept that the problem is not AMD's, its Microsoft's. He has been told that multiple times, but he still posts "has amd made a statement about their problem," makeing AMD look bad, which is his goal.

I understand how annoying behavior like that can be a downer, Acanthus. My wife is an expert. However, wouldn't it be best, for all concerned, to simply ignore him? After all, if bothersome, repetitive behavior ranks a ban, this would be a much skinnier place.

Seems to me that the problem is other people over reacting to everything he says. Perhaps he is miffed that his $500 cpu isn't perfect, I would be as well.
Again and again I see everyone who dares to suggest that AMD isn't the be all and end all of cpu's getting flamed. And within just a few days there is a post here asking for them to be banned. I agree AMD makes a better cpu (I own two of them), but that doesn't make intel the antichrist, and it' doesn't make people who use intel hardware stupid.
Give the fanboys a few days off instead, perhaps they could learn to say "I dissagree" instead of "you stupid moron".

Again, i prefer Intel over AMD, my current rig is just for the fun of tweaking a new system my next will likely be a pentium-D, and then a Merom based core.

Regardless... the issue has nothing to do with AMD vs Intel or the like, he doesnt even have an X2. He just posts FUD to bait us into attacking him, and wastes bandwidth here.

He doesnt contribute, in any way shape or form, to anandtech.

I wish they could just ban him from the CPU forums. He can troll off topic and P&N all he wants.

There's always a chance that people will be ill-informed, regardless of the venue or subject. I agree with Greenman in this, let him express what he thinks, without the overly hostile response. It's up to you guys how you react to him, after all.

If you could, show us where he has mislead people without interjection from others to rectify his comments. From what I have seen, and read, there is somebody there faster than you can blink an eye to rectify the situation. There are other people on these forums that pass on inaccurate information as well as Fatty and most of the time there are people who straighten out the misinformation before the OP leaves with advice. This guy (and others) like to push peoples buttons and probably laughs all the way home while he is doing it. Believe me, there is nothing that will knock the wind out of a persons sail as when people ignore them.

The community that has a problem, fatty, is the community that tries to help people, and research certain features and specs of CPUs.

We talk about Intel, AMD, and others with an objective view. Some of these people are very one-sided in their arguments (fanbois) and others just like to figure things out.

You however, post consistantly similar data cross posted across multiple posts, refuse to troubleshoot your so-called issue, then continue this behaviour in other threads.

Whether you are horrendously misinformed, or deliberately baiting us into attacking you, is whats being debated here.

I agree that neffing in OT is not really a big deal. However, repeatedly posting false information in the CPU forum, refusing any help, lieing about hardware you posess, and other things are what lead to this post.
