Rotten potatoes?

I was just about to wash and cut my red potatoes, when I noticed they felt a bit soft. I cut one, they didn't smell bad or anything, but there was a very slight greenish tint around the edges. Are these potatoes ok to eat? Ill be baking them for 30 minutes at 425 degrees.

Isn't there something like if you eat green potatoes or the greens leaves/sprouts its poisonous?? There was a post here on ATOT a while back 'bout this.
