Woohoo RossWorx.com finally shows up on NetSol.com's WHOIS query.

Now I need to update the nameservers to point to Dixiesys then I'm good to go!

looking good.. dont forget to lock your domain thru the namecheap modify domain.. i doubt it'd ever get hijacked, but ya never know.. :)

looking good.. dont forget to lock your domain thru the namecheap modify domain.. i doubt it'd ever get hijacked, but ya never know.. :)

Thanks for the suggestion. What exactly does "lock domain" mean/do? Can you explain it to me, thanks.

from what i understand, if it's not locked, someone could transfer your domain name without you knowing.. if it's locked, it cant transferred until you unlock it at namecheap.

Status: PROTECTED
Note: To help prevent malicious domain hijacking and domain
transfer errors, the registrar has protected the registrant
of this domain name registrant by locking it. Any attempted
transfers will be denied at the registry until the registrant
requests otherwise. The registrant for the name may unlock
the name at any time at the current registrar in order for
a transfer initiation to succeed

Who wants me to "update" his front page for him? I show port 1234 open on that machine. Who knows what program port 1234 is usually opened by?

lol. at least that's what my anti-trojan prog, TDS-3 tells me..
