A question: I can get the kodak 4900 for around $200 AR After price match from OM to OD and after MSN.. is it better to get the 4M resolution over the better Canon Optical?

may - Just like with cars horsepower (or in this case megapixel) isn't everything ... all consumer Kodak digicams suck, period. I would buy an Olympus, Fuji, Nikon, Canon, Minolta, and even Sony before ever buying a Kodak digicam for myself.

I've been looking for a digital camera for a while, and this seems like the deal for me! Alas, I can't add it to the cart online, and I called OM and they said they were unavailable over the phone as well. If anyone can figure how I can get in on this deal, either through OM or a competitor or otherwise, I'd appreciate it!

The Dell deal didn't officially have my approval, although I partook in the deal but later cancelled it - just because it wasn't for me (was for a friend's parents) I just chickened out basically.
