The real trick is catching the sale when OM actually has them in stock

It has NOTHING to do with Staples, that was just a reference link to the DVD Burner that's all.

yikes! that's such a sweet deal. were you able to pick up any of those memorex 4x dvd+r 25pack at bestbuy for $29 (no rebates)? was able to snag 2 at the union city, ca store and have 2 i ordered online that are on backorder..

i think i overspent.. but oh well. got a black optorite dvd +/- RW at newegg for $199 and then $99 for a firewire/usb 2.0 enclosure at crapusa (yeah, i paid retail. they had it on sale a few weeks back for $79 but wasnt planning on getting one. once i decided to get one, ordered at dell with discount came to $79 shipped. but due to shipping delays, i got impatient.. they have generics for $50-60 at newegg.. i have a 3.5" usb2 enclosure by the same manufacturer, and those things are a pain to open up if i ever want to switch it out with something else.)
