I will no longer be asking about cars. I finally got the car. After 7 months of researching, confused, dreaming, wanting, everything. I finally went with this

MY CAR

For a non-racer like myself, I thought this is the best way.
32mpg, good resale value, good reliability, beats the looks of corolla

And no, I will not be slapping on stickers or parts, that just ruins this beauty!

But I already love it

Glad I chose this. Thanks to everyone for a long time of advice!

need better light man. i cant even tell if its a civic or an accord. judging by the MPG, civic.

but good choice nevertheless. enjoy.

That's a civic in the picture.

Now you need a Star Trek-esqu. wing on the back, a coffee can, and some good ol' bright yellow stickers that say, "POWERED BY NOS" or some other nonsense. 😉

congrats! but yeah we need a picture taken with more light.

You better update in the AM! 😀

It's a honda, right? It's kinda hard to tell by the one corner of the bumper that I can actually see in the picture.

<< better run out and get a type-r sticker to increase your hp... 😉 >>

Don't forget the NOSand V-TECH stickers!

Also, put the words Honda over your front windshield. 50 HP at least!

Also, place an order for:

Honda in Japanese characters to put over your gas cover

Type R stickers

Tyle R shifter knob

Japanese import PIAA ricer white plasma white bulbs made to emulate real HID lamp

fat-ass muffler, if your muffler is thinner than soda can, you fail the ricer test. Ideally it should be the diamater of CD-ROM.

Someone pinch me, you finally bought a car? Woohoo, nice choice. The Honda Civic is a great performer in all areas, treat it right and you won't be disappointed. The best part is when you sell it you'll get top $.

Now about coolred and his Neon dilemma ... 😀

True, but you still should have gone with N1SS4N!

The Civic ownz the Sentra, don't make me create an OT thread and take your ass to school boy 😉

Rocking!

It's a Civic. Nice color choice. I wish the HX I want was available in blue, because I refuse to pay so much for the EX (that's just me, I value money in the bank more than money tied up on wheels). Congrats to you.

Oh BTW, the only Civic hatchback available is the Civic Si, and Honda is on crack as far as pricing goes for that thing. The MSRP of an RSX is only $740 more (including destination) than what a Civic Si with side airbags will be, and I have an inkling that you could probably get an RSX for less than a Civic Si.

EDIT: Those two cars share the same engine and chassis, and I think the Si engine is de-tuned compared to the RSX. Compare the torque ratings of the two cars. The RSX's torque peak is higher, at a lower RPM! The RSX gets significantly better gas mileage too.
