Rossi gets on the Yamaha for the 1st time...

Probably not a lot of MotoGP fans here...

Valentino Rossi got on the Yamaha for the first time at Sepang Circuit... after dominating the competition on a Honda for the last 3 years... he wants to prove that the rider is still more important than the bike.

Half way in the vid there is a head shake before the right hander. Man alive it's rough
to keep it turned on when that happens.. Been there.(on a Honda 650 Hawk)

What is Mad Max Biaggi riding this season? Those two have a running gun battle that's

Well, the only two bikes that have been able to keep up with the RC211 are the Yamaha and the new Duc, so he could very well continue kicking everyone's collective ass. Should be interesting either way as the other manu's are definitely catching up with Honda.

Who's KRJR riding for this year? Same sorry-ass Suzuki?

EDIT- that bike sounds like a freaking F-16 going by. :Q

Biaggi is still riding on the Honda... and KR will be om the same sorry Suzuki... along with John Hopkins... Edwards will get the Honda he always wanted though... ...and this time around Honda will give ALL their bikes full factory support so they make sure they beat Rossi. :Q

Nice, I respect guys that know how to ride fast on motorcycles now ever since i saw this thug guy do the wheelie thing right next to me and accelerate me at blazing speed and weave through traffic. (It was in traffic.. he was a major a$$hole.. but i loved it). I know i'm gonna get flamed for this comment, but you have to see it to believe it.. I was honking and pumping my fist in my gs4.. people thought i was cuckoo :Q

Huge bike, huge rear tire.. man alive.. better than seeing a lamborghini drive next to me.. which happened once in NYC.

Yes... that is his nickname in the sport... the doctor...

As far as the exhaust pipes are concerned... well its not street legal so theyre out to make as much as they can... the yamaha is making 220 and the honda is supposedly making 240... the Ducatis almost always have the highest trap speeds down the straight though... :heart:

Reccomend: View Faster, turn off the sound, focus on the two wheel drifts those guys

I met Wayne Rainey at Riverside Raceway in 74' during a club race(i was in a pit crew).

He came off as a prick but in reality he was a high strung race horse, just chomping at the bit...:sun:

Valentino Rossi has just completed a stunning three-day test of the Yamaha MotoGP machine at Sepang, Malaysia. In his first outing on his new machine, Rossi lapped within 2/10ths of a second of the quickest Honda testing the prior week -- ridden by Max Biaggi. Posting a 202.75, Rossi was quicker than the majority of the top Honda factory riders.

During the test, Rossi was substantially faster than the three other Yamaha riders in attendance, including Carlos Checa, Marco Melandri and Norick Abe. If the times posted by those three riders were viewed alone, you would still think Yamaha is a step or two behind the Honda MotoGP effort. Rossi, however, gave every indication he will be competitive with the Hondas from the first race of 2004.
