i've never purchased rosewill products before, any suggestions or opinions?

I'm no expert on the current latest and greatest aside from google searching. I did buy a 600/650 Rosewill Platinum a few years back and so far so good, no issues, runs quiet. The system hasn't seen much use though. I had the same concern and the reviews I found for the power supply showed it as being good quality on the build. If I was in need of a Gold/Platinum in that wattage I would likely jump on the deal myself. Remember Rosewill doesn't make the PS, just the name they put on it. I would guess it is a pretty descent model. Google it and check for reviews.

The original Rosewill Capstone PSU series was OEMed by Super Flower, carried a 7-year warranty, and came highly-recommended in this forum.

I don't know about the Capstone-G. Can anyone tell us who the OEM is? It sounds almost like it could be a Seasonic G-series platform, but I'm not certain. If it is, then this is a good PSU.

I sure hope it's Super Flower, it'd be so sleazy if they slipped in a different manufacturer now that everyone associates CS with SF a.k.a. the only good PSU line from Rosewill.

And yet the linked database says it's Enhance Electronics?

Hmm, that's still not so bad. Those "Hot Deal" $15 PSUs from Geeks.com (years ago) were Enhance. They were also sold by SilverStone for $50 or $100 under a different branding. Japanese caps, they've lasted at least 5 years in my server and in my friend's PC, and another friend's PC, although that one was replaced because the +5Vsb was failing, too much accumulated dust I think.

Yeah, not trying to say that Enhance is bad by any means. Pretty sure at this point any of the big name power supply OEMs have some very good platforms that they offer. Can you even find 'bad' 80+ gold power supplies? Sure some are better than others, especially in terms of the 'luxury' features of cabling and noise levels, but in terms of the basics of quality?
