Peter neither of the two people posting in your thread work for the project nor are they Mods for the forums. They are crunchers like the rest of us ( EX FADers actually )So I doubt they know anymore then the rest of us.
bty I have also been hit very hard by the aborted wu problem and yes it is a pain in the a$$ ( A lot more then 50 )

My work herd is shutdown, arrrgggg....it will be a long 10 days with no work production! 🙁

I assume this means you are on vacation from work. That can't be bad

Besides, a year from now when you have a bazillion points and I'm thrilled to have made 100K, I can brag... I remember when I used to outproduce BadThad. 😛

You can bet they've seen that too! 😛

While I've found all these aborted WUs annoying, they're not going to make me abort the Project  I hope nobody else does, either.

LOL. It was fun, thanks guys. I like having goals, ad mini races can make the whole experience even more enjoyable than normal. Unless of course your the red headed step child... 😛

Please do not misunderstand me: I never said that I am leaving Rosetta@home. I just said that I am cutting down my production. That means exactly that and nothing else. Until today I had my four of my comps to 80% on rosetta and 20% on seti or predictor. The other 9 were 100% on Folding@Home (with TAS). Now I have - on those four computers - all three projects on equal time share: 33%. In that way I can crunch seti@home, predictor and rosetta. I know that the problems with Rosetta will be solved, perhaps not as fast as the project coordinators want to (since the WUs are still around). I have trust in Dr. Baker that he will work to get everything solved as good as it can be done (I am thinking about the validation and the scoring).
I will increase my production sooner or later. Now I prefer to also crunch other projects, which also are close to my heart, while the problems will be solved.

And yes, I am not very happy with the answers of the crunchers in the Rosetta thread. I am also aware of that the posts in response to my query were by crunchers. I just really dislike when people assume that others are less informed.

Please note, that the advice in the Rosetta threads was to suspend the crunching. I do not intend to do that, I am just cutting down.

Congrats mrwizer to the win of the mini-race. I see from the stats that you have reached 75,187.76 credits! That was very well and fast done! 🙂 😀
