Sorry if I am late to the party, I was somewhat bored on Friday and noticed that you have a distributed computing team so I though I would put a few idle processors at work

I used to have a decent united devices setup with about 50 years computing time total on the account but the computers that ran it all got replaced in january and I could not remember the account password or email So, in the meantime I have several workstations under my control but I cannot enlist too many as entire rooms get very hot with newer equipment... 50 workstations in one room at once even idle idle with P4's = noticeably hot!

It's good to see that there is a unified client now for most of these projects, however... it seems to be very good at not using cpu time when the computer(s) is actually doing something.

50 P4 workstations in one room! You should put a cedar closet in the corner and make money on the side running a sauna

I used to run UD as well but after the second time I had to re-register every machine under my account some time back, I left. BOINC is good, though I do miss being able to set preferences machine by machine, in addition to group and general basis.
