Anyone else having any problems with the t296_CASP7 WUs? I've got two at 1.02% and over 1hr into them...

Dasm Geoff

I don't know anyone (except maybe for Petrusbroder) that can find so many ways to make Rosey slip.

What are you feeding those poor PCs of yours?

:p

edit: Let them crunch for at least 2 hours before even looking at the progress.... If you are running slow machines.... wait even longer.

I've got one running on my XP1900. Currently at 48.9%. Model 7 Step 555000. From the grapic the T296 looks to be a real monster. Could be that your system isn't able to complete a model before it gets swapped out.

Are you making any progress on the Models & steps?

I recently had one that would go all the way up to 320% complete before it actually finished. :D

No fair!! Liz is threatening to turn off BOINC while I'm at work, so that she will catch up to me quicker in stats.

No fair! Liz is cheating!!!

I had the same thing! Same WU -

t296__CASP7_ABINITIO_SAVE_ALL_OUT_hom028__638_1306_0

1.02% done after 80 minutes.

I was going to be gone for 8+ hours and so aborted it after 80 minutes. Figured one hour lost was better than maybe 10 hours.

Thanks for the stats, BMC! :)
Congrats to the MileStone Makers! :D

BTW - don' t you all know that GeoffS and I are the final testers for Rosey? When all the guys have tested the WUs and passed them as OK, the G and I get in --- and get them to crash. We ar the WU-busters! ;)

LOL @ some of these responses! Dunno what constitutes as 'slow' these days (hey... I'm not an early adopter of technology!), but I think the slowest I have is the dual MP1800... after that, it's 2GHz and up P4s... :)
