AT forums went down. SIMAP went down, and I couldn't add Rosetta. What a day....

Discovered part of my low results problem! Had one of my best crunchers hosed by bad wu's....arggggg...kept reporting, but getting NO CREDIT. It appeared to be stuck in an endless cycle and continuing to run expired wu's. One bad wu consumed 499,178 seconds of cpu time and tried to claim a credit of 2,239.....and Rosetta denied the credit....ARRRGGGGGGG.

I had to uninstall BOINC, delete the left over directory (another arrrrgggg) and reinstall. This was the worst case of "hosedom" I've seen!

Man, I have been trying to get an alternator changed for 15 days now, 2 wrong alternators, hands and arms are scratched to h##L because you only get 2 inches of room to install it. WHO in there right mind puts an alternator on the bottom of the engine :Q

The newest alternator number 3 has a pressed in nut that sticks out 1/8 of an inch too far, supposedly, I get one that will fit at 1:30pm today and I might just have the car running tommorow. Sigh.


My opty is finally gaining speed almost to 800ppd and still climbing

:beer: is on me tonight if I get that alternator installed.

Oh good news is I turn in my application and maybe go for the interview for the bus driving job tommorow. I hope I get it.

Where is that option? I don't see it in my clients....but maybe I'm blind.

go to project tab

3rd one down on the left

"reset project"

Thad, if you talk to the Rosetta mods/devs, they're usually pretty lean on these things, maybe they'll grant you some of the lost creds. It's well worth a try.

Her latest prank is these machine overcommitments. While crunching a unit that takes 2 hours to finish, it downloads a buttload of WUs that take 16 hours each and voila'

I'm going to post about it over there, but I know what they'll say.... just let it run and it will straighten itself out.... BUT I SAY..... that's what the 'project reset' button is for. :thumbsup:

I just give them a refund and crunch on about my merry way
