I really like how BOINC suspends work while you're active on your computer. I've had problems with other DC apps in the past, with punkbuster.

I always shutdown rosetta when I'm gaming.....don't want the competition for CPU cycles.

I will usually keep my client running as most games that I play don't need the full power and I don't see any difference without. I mostly play BattleField 2.
